At Woodley School and College, we want every child to feel safe, happy and understood. As an Autism Specialist School, we recognise that behaviour helps pupils communicate how they feel, so our approach is built on Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), strong relationships and creating the right environment for learning.

We focus on what each child needs to feel calm and confident. By understanding their strengths, interests, communication styles and sensory needs, we reduce anxiety and support positive Communication.

Caring, trusting relationships help pupils enjoy learning and grow in Independence. When challenges arise, we respond with kindness and understanding, helping pupils feel safe and able to move forward.

We work closely with families, celebrating progress and sharing strategies so pupils feel supported at home and school. This partnership helps every child make meaningful Achievement.
