    Our commitment to enrichment

At Woodley School and College, we believe that education extends far beyond the classroom. Our enrichment programme provides all pupils with opportunities to explore their interests, develop new skills, build confidence, and enjoy memorable experiences that enhance their learning and personal development.

We are committed to ensuring that every pupil has equal access to our enrichment activities, regardless of their background, needs, or circumstances.

Making enrichment inclusive and accessible for all

We make sure that all pupils have equal access to and can participate in our enrichment activities. We understand that some pupils may face barriers to participation, and we work hard to remove these.

    How we support access:

    Financial support

All our clubs within school are free of charge.

For trips and residentials where families who need financial assistance to support with costs, we encourage them to please speak to us in confidence for support we can offer.

    SEND support

As a specialist School our clubs and activities are inclusive and adapted to meet the needs of pupils with SEND.

Our enrichment programme helps pupils to:

    • Develop new skills and discover hidden talents
    • Build confidence and self-esteem
    • Make friends and develop social skills
    • Experience new places and cultures
    • Develop resilience, teamwork, and leadership skills
    • Enjoy school and feel part of our community

How parents and carers can support

Encourage your child to try new activities - even if they're not sure at first
