Suzanne Taylor

“I have over 16 years special needs experience after originally qualifying as Chemistry teacher. I’ve worked across a broad range of age groups and need. I have a Masters Degree in Profound and Complex Learning Difficulties from Birmingham as well as being a fully qualified Elklan tutor.

I have a passion for improving the quality of life for individuals with complex needs. I am particularly interested in the areas of AAC communication, positive behaviour support and sensory integration.”

Catie Rayner

“I also have 16+ years of experience teaching children in SEN settings, after qualifying as a primary school teacher.  I have taught a wide range of needs, in both special schools and colleges, from age 5-19, and specialist provisions in mainstream secondary.

I have an additional post-graduate certificate in Autism from Birmingham University and worked as part of the Kirklees CCI outreach team.  I'm now really enjoying my role at Woodley as an AET trainer, and am particularly interested in ensuring those with SEN have the right support when in school.
